I have my own opinions about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But let me tell you this, after living among Sunni and Shiite Muslims I have no doubt that if US and allied forces pull out as quick as Pres. elect Obama wants us too the entire region will melt into a war more bloody and more chaotic than anything we have seen to this point. It is not just the hate of Western customs which drives some Muslims to such radical behavior. Many American’s, who have never lived in this culture can not comprehend the hate that they have towards Israel, nor can they understand the indifference they hold towards life and death. They fight for a cause that supersedes LIFE.
Myself, I am fearful of our present economic state. That said, I am more fearful of those who do not care to die to kill us. In fact, the Quran actually tells them when they die when killing an infidel, they go straight to heaven. It is the only way…the only way they can bypass hell.
